What is the Myers Briggs Personality Test?
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a test made to identify psychological tendencies of an individual described by the theory of Carl Jung which was published in his book book, Psychological Types in 1921. The creators of the Myers Briggs personality test were Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers and they based the test off of Jung's work. The two created the test to help individuals pre determine which lines of work or career best fit that individual's personality types as defined by the theories of Carl Jung.
